Explaining what you’ll need to get started.

The Onboarding

Devices devices

I recommend a tablet with a stand as your device. A cell phone will work but the small screen may make it difficult to see demonstrations of more complex movements. A stand for your tablet or cell phone will help tremendously in training your camera towards your body. Laptops work well also because of their size and ability to tilt the screen.

Video Call videocam

Generally I use FaceTime or Google Meet for video calls. Zoom is least preferred because it has a limited viewing field and way too many buttons. You won’t need an account for using FaceTime or Google Meet with me, the service works the same. Microsoft Teams is another option.

Scheduling schedule

Scheduling your session is done directly with me. Usually, I communicate with all clients via text message throughout the week. I understand your work and life schedules are not always consistent so we can change our workout times week to week or set a consistent time if that is better. It should be noted that same day cancellations are still charged, although there are exceptions. Life happens.

Audio headphones

Bluetooth headphones are strongly recommended. They allow you to move freely in your space and still hear all instructions and maybe a little chit chat about your routine and life. It’s ok to have some light music in the background in your space. Speaker phone will work if you have a quiet space, but headphones are better.

Space self_improvement

Find a space where you can spread out! Move the coffee table to the side and lay out your yoga mat. You should be able to do a snow angel on your back without touching anything. Have your equipment nearby, we could use a variety of things for your session depending upon how your body is feeling for the day. Home gyms are a plus but not necessary.

Daily Life speaker_notes

Tell me about your daily life. What time do you go to bed? What time do you wake up? How’s your diet? How many hours a day you spend at a desk? Do you feel like you’re under stress? What time do you usually eat dinner? How often do you walk? Knowing daily habits is key.

Equipment fitness_center

At a minimum you should have a yoga mat and gravity. The more equipment you have the better. Mostly I lean towards using dumbells, bands and body weight. Check out the list of my favorite equipment to gets some ideas. If you’re wanting to make the investment I’ll make a list of equipment you can buy that will cover almost anything you’ll need.

Billing credit_card

Bitcoin Lightning Address

I usually send out billing requests Monday or Tuesday for the previous week via Zelle, PayPal or Venmo. BTC also accepted. If you need a receipt let me know and I’ll email you a receipt for all sessions monthly.
